Pension Koch

With its unique location - a view of Gudhjem town and the Baltic Sea - Pension Koch has for more than 75 years been the setting for wonderful holiday experiences on Bornholm. Over the years, Pension Koch has been lovingly restored and developed.
 
Pension Koch has a tranquil atmosphere as all guests must be at least 14 years old. Here you stay in beautiful holiday apartments, 5 minutes' walk from Gudhjem Harbour. Here, yachtsmen, cafes, smokehouses, museums and craftsmen form a very special atmosphere. From the harbor, you can sail to the small fortress island of Christiansø, which stands almost as it did in the 1800s, when the island was Denmark's advanced naval base in the Baltic Sea.
 
Gudhjem is also known for its magical light over the sea at sunset. For over a hundred years, painters have visited Gudhjem to "catch" the light. Visit the Oluf Høst Museum in Gudhjem and see some of the beautiful paintings. At Bornholm's Food Culture House "Gaarden" you can taste a wide selection of Bornholm's food delicacies, and experience farming as it was in the 1950s.
