Åkirkeby
Your visit begins in the “Time Machine”, where you travel back in time and feel the power of earthquakes for yourself. As you move through the exhibitions, you can create your own mountain range, experience life-sized dinosaurs, watch a dinosaur blink and meet live crocodiles. You can also explore fish, reptiles and other animals from Bornholm and the Baltic Sea, or dive into the story of the dinosaurs that once lived here. Bornholm is the only place in Denmark where dinosaur traces have been found. Outside, even more experiences await with a playground, fossil hunting and the opportunity to explore the surrounding Bornholm landscape. Opening hours 2026 The exhibitions are open from 10:00–17:00.
