Søterrasserne is quietly located in Sandkås, between Allinge and Tejn. The beautiful cliffs and the sea are just outside, where you can follow the beautiful coastal paths by bike or on foot. At Café Sandkaas or Sandkaas Strandbar you can enjoy nice refreshments and snacks after a trip in the water on the lovely sandy beach surrounded by rocks. Time of Arrival
You will be able to check in to your holiday home from 15:00 on the arrival day. Read more under "Keys" if you arrive late at night.
Time of Departure
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the holiday home no later than 10:00, so that we can prepare the holiday home for the next guests.
Arrival days
There are no fixed changeover days in Søterrasserne , and therefore you are free to choose the arrival day. As a rule, you do not need to rent for whole weeks. This allows you to put together your holiday completely according to your choice, just as you can choose to travel on the cheapest ferry days. The cheapest ferry days are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Accessibility
Søterrasserne is not wheelchair accessible due to steps and stairs. Please contact us at +45 56 95 85 66 for advice and guidance if you need a holiday home where it is possible to bring a wheelchair.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair and crib. If you wish to rent a baby package, you can add it to your reservation when booking your stay.
Cleaning
A holiday must be a holiday! That is why we make sure to clean your apartment on arrival/departure - so you are always sure that the apartment is properly cleaned on your arrival, and you are free from the work of cleaning yourself before your departure. When you order through us, cleaning is always included in your rental price. You therefore do not have to pay extra for the cleaning. On your departure, we therefore simply ask you to ensure that the furniture is in its place, the kitchenware is washed up, and any waste is handed over to the area's environmental station.
Duvets and pillows
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel. If you wish to rent a linen package, you can add it to your reservation when booking your stay.
Electricity and water consumption
Electricity and water consumption are always included in your rental price, so we will not send you any additional invoice after your holiday.
Freezer
There is a small freezer compartment in the fridge in the apartment.
Groceries
You can shop for groceries at Netto and SuperBrugsen in Allinge, about 2 km from Søterrasserne, and at Dagli'Brugsen in Tejn, about 1.5 km from Søterrasserne.
Internet
There is free wireless internet in the apartment. Transmission strength may vary. If you need to use the internet connection for work-related matters, we therefore recommend that you bring your own mobile broadband. If the network does not function optimally, this does not provide a basis for financial compensation. You will find the code for the internet in your apartment.
Keys
We’ll send you a separate email a few days before your arrival with information about how to get the key to your holiday apartment. It’s a simple process – and no problem at all if you arrive late in the evening.
Kitchen appliances
Søterrasserne has a well-equipped kitchen - including kitchen service. You therefore do not need to bring kitchen utensils or the like.
Parking
You can park for free right at Søterrasserne.
Pets
Pets are allowed in selected apartments at Søterrasserne. If you are bringing a dog or a cat, please add this when booking your stay. Please note that there is an additional cleaning fee when bringing a dog or a cat. Also remember that the Swedish customs regulations must be met when travelling with pets to Bornholm via Sweden. Smoking
Smoking is not allowed at Søterrasserne.
Tea towels, toilet paper and more
Upon your arrival, there is a tea towel, dish cloth and a starting supply of toilet paper in the holiday apartment. If you need more, you must bring/purchase this yourself.
Washing machine
Unfortunately, there is no washing machine available. We refer to the laundry facilities at Storløkke Feriepark, Genvej 2-4, 3770 Allinge, which you can use for a fee.

Follow the coastal path to Allinge or Tejn
Søterrasserne are located in the attractive holiday area of Sandkås, which for centuries has attracted holidaymakers with white sandy beaches and towering cliffs. Sandkås is an old Bornholm expression for "a bay with sand", which well describes the cozy little fishing village. Not far from Søterasserne you will find Sandkås Strand. Because of the trees, it is difficult to spot the beach for passers-by, and you can therefore enjoy a "private" beach that is almost only known to local Bornholm residents - a perfect place to enjoy a sunny summer day. In summer, you can rent paddleboards or kayaks at Cafe Sandkås, and enjoy the fantastic view of Bornholm from the water.
Follow the coastal path to Allinge or Tejn
From Sandkås Beach, you can follow the beautiful coastal path, which offers a wonderful hike on foot. If you go south, you will come to the cozy fishing village Tejn, which houses a cozy harbor environment where you can enjoy a beer at the local brewery Penyllan, have a good bite to eat, or perhaps you want to visit one of the many artisans? The town dates back to 1569, when Tejn was at that time a farming community consisting of farmers and fishermen. The fishing tradition is also kept in check when Tejn hosts the annual fishing competition, Trolling Master Bornholm, where the competition is about catching the biggest salmon.
If you follow the coast path to the north, you will come to Allinge. The trip to Allinge is not long, but set aside some time to stop and enjoy the fantastic view of the sea. You can quickly find a few hours to walk in Allinge – perhaps with a trip past one of the town's two smokehouses, or one of the many other eateries in the town? In the summer you can experience the hawker market at Allinge Harbor, where you can strike a bargain with the locals. In Allinge you will also find Gæstgivergården – a local venue where you can enjoy a summer evening for a cozy intimate concert with some of the biggest names in music in Denmark.

The coastal path continues out of Allinge to Sandvig, where you can find Northern Europe's largest castle, Hammershus. In the Middle Ages, Hammershus was an impregnable fortress in medieval Denmark. Did you know that public user fees were already introduced in the Middle Ages? If you had your head chopped off by the executioner, for example, you had to pay yourself... and there was always advance payment. Hammershus holds many exciting historical stories, which you can experience in the Brohuset visitor centre. Here you will find an exciting exhibition where you can learn more about the impregnable medieval castle. In addition, you can satisfy your hunger in the café and enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Hammershus.
Around Hammershus you will also find many other natural attractions. Among other things, the popular rock formation Kamelhovederne shapes as camels and the old granite quarries, which today have been transformed into beautiful lakes, including Opalsøen, where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings around the lake or maybe you want to try a trip in Denmark's longest cable car beyond Opalsøen?
On a trip in the rift valleys
Bornholm is known for its many fascinating rift valleys, and you can find one of the most famous rift valleys by taking a walk in the forest behind the holiday apartments - namely "Storedalen". Storedalen was created thousands of years ago when tensions in the underground caused the granite to crack larger and larger cracks. Meltwater from ice age glaciers subsequently eroded away both soil and rock. This gave rise to a gorge with steep cliff sides, which today provides a fantastic experience when you walk there in the middle of the narrow crevasse valley with high cliffs on both sides. The rift valley also creates a growing basis for many beautiful plants. In spring, you can enjoy the sight of the white, yellow and blue anemones as well as yellow wartroot and violet larkspur spores.
