Gammelgård is an idyllic, newly renovated thatched holiday home offering plenty of space for up to 8 guests. The house is arranged over two floors with a well-equipped country-style kitchen and the bright living room, which features a vaulted ceiling and a wood-burning stove. The setting is ideal for togetherness, relaxation and long meals around the dining table. The holiday home includes four cosy bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Outside, a large natural plot and two terraces await, where you can enjoy the sun, the tranquillity and long summer evenings – one of the terraces is also equipped with a barbecue.

The area is ideal for cycling and walking along the coast and through the Bornholm countryside – and with the bicycles provided at the summerhouse, it is easy to get around and explore the island’s many attractions. Arrival days
In the period from 8–14 June 2026, Monday is the arrival day, and in the period from 3 July to 13 August, Friday is the fixed arrival day. During these periods, the house is rented only in full weeks. In all other periods, there are no fixed changeover days, and stays can be booked with a minimum of 3 nights.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair and crib. If you wish to rent a baby package, you can add it to your reservation when booking your stay. The baby package will be delivered to the house prior to arrival and picked up again upon your departure.
Cleaning
We'll make sure to clean your holiday home on arrival/departure. Cleaning is always included in your rental price, and we will not send you any additional invoices for this after your holiday. On your departure, we simply ask you to ensure that the furniture is in its place, the dishes are cleaned/dishwasher is emptied, and any waste has been placed in the correct bins.
Duvets and pillows
There are duvets and pillows in the house. You need to bring your own bed linen and towels unless you rent a linen package from us. The linen package includes sheets, pillowcases, and one large and one small towel. If you wish to rent a linen package, you can add it to your booking when reserving your stay.
Groceries
You can shop for groceries in Brugsen in Østermarie, approx. 3 km from the house as well as DagliBrugsen in Svaneke, approx. 6 km from the house.
Internet
There is free wireless internet in the house. If the network does not function optimally, this does not provide a basis for financial compensation.
Keys
We’ll send you a separate email a few days before your arrival with information about how to get the key to the house. It’s a simple process – and no problem at all if you arrive late in the evening.
Kitchen appliances
The summerhouse has a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for basic cooking - including tableware and utensils, so you don't need to bring any of your own.
Parking
There is plenty of space for parking in the court yard and by the house in general.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in Gammelgård. If you wish to bring your pet to Bornholm, please have a look at our pet-friendly accommodations.
Tea towels, toilet paper and more
There is a tea towel, dish cloth and a starting supply of toilet paper in the summerhouse when you arrive. If you need more, you must bring/purchase this yourself.
