Hasle Holiday Park is situated in beautiful natural surroundings in the old fishing town of Hasle, on the west coast of Bornholm. You will be staying in an idyllic wooded area, close to a sandy beach, which is one of the hidden gems of Bornholm

The holiday homes have private terraces with views of the woods. Get comfortable in the garden furniture and relax, following a day full of holiday adventures. Perhaps delicious fish from the local smokehouse is on the menu for dinner.
Woods, beach, and lots of fun
Go an explore the woods, and do bring a picnic. Just 400 meters along the wooded paths and you will arrive at one of the best beaches on Bornholm. The swimming pool in Hasle Holiday Park (heated between 15 May and 15 September), and children’s pool (heated between 15 May and 31 August), are also available for you to enjoy. The water is heated using solar power, so if the weather is particularly sunny, the pool might stay open for longer. Visit the multi arena, with soccer and basketball courts, hockey lane, and beach volleyball court. Furthermore, Hasle Holiday Park offers miniature golf, a large playground and a bouncy cushion.
Go for a bicycle ride
The terrain around Hasle Holiday Park is ideal for running or cycling. The bicycle lanes begin just 100 meters from Hasle Holiday Park, and there are great mountain biking routes in the woods. In addition to regular bicycles, you can hire racing bicycles, mountain bikes, and electric bicycles, from the reception.
Sunsets and dinosaur hunts
Remember to enjoy the beautiful sunsets on an evening walk along the beach. The sandy dunes along the coast of Hasle have been there for around 170 million years. Back then, the sauropods ruled Bornholm. The sauropod was a dinosaur, which, with its 40 meters, was the largest animal to ever walk the earth. You can search for fossils in the sand at the beach, where a fossilised footprint from one of the smaller sauropods have been found – it was ”only” 20 meters long.

The holiday homes in Hasle Holiday Park are terraced houses with a floorplan of 45 m2, and the following layout: Hallway, two bedrooms, both with two single beds, bathroom with WC and shower, combined living and dining room and TV. For houses accommodating 5 people, there is an extra sleeping space on a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen has a stove, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, kettle, and coffeemaker. You will be able to check in to your holiday home from 3 PM.
Time of departure
On the day of departure, we ask that you leave the holiday home no later than 10 AM, so that we can prepare for the next guests.
Arrival days
As a rule, there are no set days for arrival or departure. As such, you are able to plan your holiday completely according to your own wishes – and you can choose to travel on the days when the ferry is cheapest. Usually, the ferry is cheapest on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair, crib, stroller (sturdy umbrella stroller with a canopy, where the backrest can be fully reclined), changing pad, and bathtub. We kindly ask you to reserve the baby package when you make your booking. You should pick up the baby package at the reception upon your arrival, and we ask you to return the equipment to the reception at your departure.
Booking more than one holiday home
If you wish to book more than one holiday home, all you have to do is book one holiday home, and make a note in the comment section, of how many holiday homes you would like to book. We will take care of your reservation manually. Of course, you are always welcome to call us on (+45) 56 95 85 66.
Bus
If you wish to take to bus to Hasle Holiday Park, the bus stop is approximately 250 meters away from the Hasle Holiday Park. The schedule for all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here: bat.dk.
Bicycle rental
You can rent bicycles in the reception. The price pr. bicycle is as follows:
· 1 day: 85 DKK
· 2 days: 170 DKK
· 3 days: 225 DKK
· Ekstra dag: 40 DKK
· Helmet: 30 DKK pr. person
Cleaning
A holiday is a holiday! We take care of the cleaning prior to your arrival and following your departure, so that you can rest easy knowing that you will arrive at a clean holiday home, and you will not have to worry about cleaning before your departure. When you book your holiday with us, cleaning is always included in your fee, and there will be no extra cleaning charges. On your departure, we ask that you have placed all of your rubbish in the bin bag, and that you have washed the dishes.
Charging stand for electric cars
Hasle Holiday Park has a charging station for electric cars (type 2 charging station). You can buy charging cards with 55 kWh at reception.
Duvets & Bed Linen
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. Bed linen and towels are therefore the only thing you must bring yourself. Alternatively, you can rent a linen package, consisting of sheets, pillow and duvet covers as well as a large and a small towel, for 22 EUR per person. Remember to pre-order if you want to rent bed linen / towels.
Disability access
The holiday homes in Hasle Holiday Park are suitable for guests with physical disabilities. For example, the doors are wide enough to allow a wheelchair through, and there are no steps between the rooms inside the holiday homes. The bathrooms can also accommodate a wheelchair. Please inform us, if you, or a member of your party, is a wheelchair user, and we will do our very best to find you the home most suitable to your needs.
Dishtowel, toilet paper, etc.
Upon your arrival, you will find a dishtowel, dishcloth, and a start-up inventory of toilet paper and kitchen towels, in your holiday home. Should you require extra, we ask that you bring, or purchase, this yourself.
Defibrillator
We hope that you will not need it – but for your information, a defibrillator can be accessed in the reception at Hasle Holiday Park.
Grill
All the holiday homes in Hasle Feriepark are owned by individual private persons. Some of the holiday homes have a barbecue, while others do not. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that there will be a grill at your holiday home. However, if your accommodation doesn't have one, you are always welcome to bring your own grill if you wish to barbecue. Please be considerate of the neighbors when using the grill, and kindly remember to clean it yourself after use.
Grocery shopping
In Hasle Holiday Park you will find a kiosk, with a smaller assortment of groceries and housekeeping articles. Outside peak season, opening hours may be reduced. If you need to visit a supermarket, the centre of Hasle is just 1.2 kilometres away. Here you will find the local grocery store, as well as Super Brugsen.
Hypoallergenic holiday homes
All holiday homes in Hasle Holiday Park are non-smoking. If you have a pet allergy, you can choose to stay in one of the pet-free holiday home. Please inform us of your allergy when making your reservation, and we will book you into one of the hypoallergenic holiday homes. None of our pillows or duvets are stuffed with down, so an allergy to down will not be a problem.
Internet
All holiday homes in Hasle Holiday Park have free internet access, through a well functioning fibre optic broadband. The password can be found inside you holiday home.
Iron and ironing board
You can borrow an iron and an ironing board in the reception.
Kitchenware
The holiday homes in Hasle Holiday Park all have well equipped kitchens – including dinnerware for 5 people.
Miniature golf
Price per person DKK 20. For groups of more than 10 people, the price per person is DKK 15.
Multi arena
Hasle Holiday Park has a multi arena with hockey lane, beach volley court, soccer and basketball court. In the reception, you can borrow hockey sticks, balls, etc., free of charge.
Keys
You can collect you key from the reception. If you arrive outside the reception’s opening hours, we will inform you of how and where to collect your key.
Parking
Of course, you will enjoy free parking in Hasle Holiday Park. The holiday homes are located between 10 and 100 meters from the parking area. If you have specific requests, as to the location of your holiday home, we ask that you inform us of this, when making your reservation.
Swimming pool
As a guest at Hasle Holiday Park, you can use the beautiful pool with accompanying children's pool free of charge. The chlorine content and filters in the swimming pool ensure that any bacteria and viruses are removed, so that you and your family can safely swim in the pool during your stay.
Pets
Dogs and cats are very welcome in Hasle Holiday Park, as we have holiday homes suited for guests with pets. An extra cleaning fee of EUR 48 will be charged for bringing your four-legged friend. If you bring 3 dogs, or more, the fee is EUR 96. It is quite easy to bring your dog or cat to Bornholm, as long as you live up to the requirements from the Swedish Customs Agency. Terms of payment
We ask that you make a deposit of 25 % of the total fee, no more than 10 days after receiving your order confirmation. We ask that you pay the residual sum no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. If you have made your reservation less than 45 days before your arrival, we ask that you pay the fee in full, the day after receiving your order confirmation.
Washing machine and tumble dryer
If you need to do laundry during your stay, you can use a washing machine and tumble dryer at a small fee. The laundry room can be found in connection to the reception.

Watch the deer in the morning
Hasle’s history dates back to the 1100s, but it was not until the 1500s that the town really became known. The town slowly developed into an industrious fishing and agricultural town, with an important side business of producing schnapps. Later, discoveries of a large amount of clay in the ground beneath the town, provided the base for the town’s further development. During the 1900s, international competition became too great, and the excavation work halted. The large excavation sites left behind enormous holes, and today they have become beautiful lakes with a rich animal life. There are also many animals around Hasle Holiday Park. Get up early one morning, and you will experience the deer taking a morning stroll on the wooded paths in front of your holiday home.
Search for prehistoric crocodiles south of Hasle
Millions of years ago, the world was a very different place. Back then, Bornholm was located close to the equator, and the climate was sub-tropical. The lands were ruled by dinosaurs and large crocodiles. The formation of the sandy dunes in Hasle make is possible to search for traces of the prehistoric rulers. For example, fossilised dinosaur footprints have been found by Hasle beach, as well as bones from prehistoric crocodiles. Go for a walk along the beach, and tell the children stories of the discoveries. Maybe you will find fossils in the sand – from dinosaurs or sea urchins – it’s fun either way.
Submarine testing
During World War II, Hasle was an important location in the German submarine strategy. Almost all the German submarines performed sound tests in the sea by Hasle, in an attempt to make the submarines as soundproof as possible. A submarine cable, several kilometres long, was connected to a well manned listening station close to the beach by Hasle Holiday Park, so that the sound levels of the submarines could be thoroughly tested and adjusted. Along the beach, you can still see traces of the old listening station.
Beautiful sandy beach
The German submarine personnel probably did not have time to enjoy the fact that Hasle has one of the best sandy beaches on Bornholm, which, oddly enough, is one of the beaches with the least tourist visitors. The beach is well used by the locals, but it is not until recent years that tourists have discovered all that Hasle has to offer, as a holiday location. Besides being a charming town with a great atmosphere and a beautiful sandy beach, the town offers many interesting art exhibitions, a great harbour environment, and an old school smokehouse. The smokehouse also functions as a working museum, where you can experience how the smokehouses have developed through the ages. Visit the smokehouse for a fun experience, and some delicious smoked herring.

Stejle klipper skaber kontrast
Lidt nord for Hasle ligger det gamle granitbrud i Vang kaldet Ringebakkerne. De stejle klipper er en fantastisk kontrast til det bløde hvide sand foran Hasle Feriepark. Ringebakkerne har leveret granit til mange af Danmarks store byggeri - det er ex med granit herfra, at fundamentet til Storebæltsbroen blev bygget. I dag er granitbruddet nedlagt, men bruges i stedet til rappelling og klatring. Tag forbi og oplev vovehalsene på vej op ad de lodrette klippesider - eller nyd bare den fantastiske udsigt. Det er sjældent, at stedets ynglende vandrefalkepar spiser turister, men derfor må du alligevel ikke kravle op til deres rede. I stedet kan du nyde de fantastiske fugle højt på himlen spejdende efter fødeemner.
Månelandskabet ved Hasle
Stranden foran Hasle Feriepark er skøn med hvidt sand, men hvis du går syd på langs stranden, vil stranden ændre karakter til grovere og mørkere sand. Og pludselig kommer du til et landskab, der nærmest ligner månen. Under 1. og 2. verdenskrig blev der gravet kul i skovene bag stranden, og de opgravede lag blev kørt med små togvogne og tippet af ved kysten. Derfor opstod dette landskab, som i dag kaldes "Kultippen". Et besøg på Kultippen er en sjov oplevelse - og de gamle kulvogne står der endnu.
Jon’s Chapel
Just north of Hasle, you will find the idyllic fishing villages of Helligpeder and Teglkaas, as well as the impressive rock formation ”Jon’s Chapel”. According to history, Jon washed ashore by the rock formation, following a shipwreck. Caused by his immense gratitude for having survived, he became a missionary. From the towering cliffs – one of which is shaped as a pulpit – Jon proclaimed the Christian message to the heathen population. To the locals, the rock formation thus became known as Jon’s Chapel.

Bornholm has a very well designed web of bicycle lanes. 100 meters from Hasle Holiday Park, you will encounter the first one. The lanes will take you along smaller roads, where cars are the exception, and beautiful nature the rule.
Fields of grain
Try going inland on a summer’s day, and experience the yellow fields of grain. The journey might be uphill, but you will reap the rewards on your way home, when you can freewheel downhill, and enjoy the views of the sea and the town of Hasle.
You can also follow the bicycle lanes up the coast. Make a stop at one of the nature stops, feel the calm and quiet. Enjoy the beautiful view. If you are not bringing your own bicycle, you can hire a bicycle at Hasle Holiday Park.
Dinosaur hunt
The sandy dunes along the coast of Hasle have existed for around 170 million years. Back then, Bornholm enjoyed a tropical climate, the sea was ruled by the swan lizard, with its giant jaw and sharp teeth, while the Sauropods ruled the land.
The Sauropods were dinosaurs, and with a length of 40 meters, the largest animals to ever walk the earth. Go for a walk along the beach in front of Hasle Holiday Park, where there are excellent opportunities for fossil hunting. Here, a fossilised footprint of a small Sauropod has been found – it was “only” 20 meters long.
Sea urchins and sharks
When visiting the beach, the children will love the stories about the amazing past of Bornholm. Perhaps you will not find a fossilised sauropod, but the odds of finding a fossilised clam, sea urchin, even sharks, are quite good. In any case, the 170 million year old sandy dunes will give you a little taste of history, and make you think about, what it would have been like to be alive back then.
Golf - 4 beautiful golf courses
Not just the nature on Bornholm is beautiful and different. The sunshine island also boasts four golf courses, with experiences unlike others. The courses are beautifully situated between hills, rocks, woods, streams, and lakes, with challenges for all handicaps. Rø Golf Course has received praise from several different international golf magazines. Rø Golf Course is located just 14 kilometres from Hasle Holiday Park.

Running or cycling
If you need to stay in shape on your holiday, there are many great runs around Hasle Holiday Park.
The calm one – 3 kilometres. You will run along the walkway to the small town of Muleby, just south of Hasle Holiday Park, and run back along the wooded paths to Hasle Holiday Park.
The good one – 5 kilometres. You will run along the wooded paths to the beach, and after a few kilometres in the sand, you will run back along the wooded paths to Hasle Holiday Park.
The tough one – 10 kilometres. From Hasle Holiday Park you will run along the wooded paths to the beach. From the beach, you will run towards the town along the coastal path, continue to the harbour, and up the “Serpentine” hill. When you reach the top, run north, out of Hasle. When you have enjoyed a run along the fields of grain, turn back towards Hasle, and your holiday home, for a rest in the garden furniture.
Angling
Go fish
With its varied coastline, Bornholm is an Eldorado for anglers all year round. From the coast, there are excellent opportunities for catching sea trout.
Cod
If you want to try fishing from a boat, there are almost daily departures from Hasle Harbour, where you can go cod fishing. The sea around Hasle is excellent for cod fishing, so remember to set the table, ready for the catch of the day.
Hiking
The woods
When Hasle had been the victim of a heavy sand drifting in the 1700s, the planting of the area began in the 1820s. The planting primarily consisted of pine forests, which were subsequently supplemented with hardwood forest – mainly beech. The majority of the hardwood forest was planted by H.C. Siersted, which is why the road leading into Hasle Holiday Park is called “H.C. Sierstedsvej”.
H.C. Siersted and the silk butterflies
H.C. Siersted was a very active and productive man, who dabbled in many different industries. For example, he tried producing glass, with Bornholm coal as source of heat to melt the sand. After several years, the production had to close, as the Bornholm coal did not have sufficient heating capabilities, to produce appropriate temperatures for producing glass. Then, H.C. Siersted entered an altogether different industry, when he took to breeding silk butterflies. In the woods around Hasle Holiday Park, a statue has been erected in H.C. Siersted’s honour. It is him we have to thank for the beautiful woods and the rich animal life in the area.
The past
The area around Hasle has attracted man for ages and ages. Along the streams in the woods, there are traces of settlements from the iron and bronze ages, and along the coast, you can still see the entrenchments used from the 1400s and until the beginning of the 1800s. In the Middle Ages, Bornholm was plagued by pirates, who plundered the coasts, and the locals formed militias and defences to protect themselves. The fact that the people of Bornholm sometimes pillaged and plundered the neighbouring countries, well.. that is an entirely different story.
