Gudhjem Holiday Homes are located in one of Bornholm’s most iconic areas, right by the sea and only a few minutes’ walk from the charming streets and vibrant harbor of Gudhjem. From the holiday area it’s just 75 metres to the rocky coastline and 900 metres to the popular Melsted Beach with soft sand and a beautiful bathing jetty. Gudhjem’s town centre, with small shops, cafés, smokehouse and restaurants, is only 700 metres away, giving you a peaceful setting while still being close to the best the town has to offer. From here, it’s easy to explore the whole island, whether you head to Hammershus in the north, Christiansø in the east, Dueodde in the south, or the many scenic routes and cultural highlights that make Gudhjem one of Bornholm’s most beloved areas.

Arrival days
From 7–13 June and 5 July – 15 August 2026, Sunday is the arrival and departure day, and stays must be booked in full weeks. In all other periods, there is no fixed changeover day, and stays can be booked for a minimum of 3 nights.
Accessibility
Gudhjem Feriehuse is not wheelchair friendly due to steps from the street to the houses. Please contact us at +45 56 95 85 66 for advice and guidance if you need a holiday home where it is possible to bring a wheelchair.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair and crib. If you wish to rent a baby package, you can add it to your reservation when booking your stay. The baby package will be delivered to the house prior to arrival and picked up again upon your departure.
Cleaning
We'll make sure to clean your holiday home on arrival/departure. Cleaning is always included in your rental price, and we will not send you any additional invoices for this after your holiday. On your departure, we simply ask you to ensure that the furniture is in its place, the dishes are cleaned/dishwasher is emptied, and any waste has been placed in the correct bins.
Duvets and pillows
The house is equipped with duvets and pillows. You need to bring your own bed linen and towels unless you rent a linen package from us. The linen package includes sheets, pillowcases, and one large and one small towel. If you wish to rent a linen package, you can add it to your booking when reserving your stay.
Electricity and water consumption
Electricity and water consumption are always included in your rental price, so we will not send you any additional invoice after your holiday.
Groceries
You can shop for groceries in Brugsen in Gudhjem, only 200 meter from the house.
Internet
There is free wireless internet in the house. If the network does not function optimally, this does not provide a basis for financial compensation.
Keys
We’ll send you a separate email a few days before your arrival with information about how to get the key to your holiday house. It’s a simple process – and no problem at all if you arrive late in the evening.
Kitchen appliances
The holiday home has a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for basic cooking - including tableware and utensils and you don't need to bring any of your own..
Parking and charging station
You can park for free on Jernkaasvej right next to the houses, or alternatively at the large free car park on Melstedvej.
Pets
Pets are allowed at Gudhjem Feriehuse. If you are bringing a dog or cat, please remember to add this when booking your stay. Please note that an additional cleaning fee applies for stays with pets. Also remember that the requirements of the Swedish customs authorities must be met when travelling with pets to Bornholm via Sweden. Read more about the cleaning fee and bringing pets via Sweden.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the house.
Tea towels, toilet paper and more
There is a tea towel, dish cloth and a starting supply of toilet paper in the holiday home when you arrive. If you need more, you must bring/purchase this yourself.
