Gudhjem Søpark is ideally located between town, cliffs and sea – just 200 metres from shopping, 800 metres from Gudhjem centre and 900 metres from Melsted Beach, where you can take a swim all year round. Gudhjem is known for its special light, which has attracted artists and nature lovers for centuries. The town winds beautifully down the cliffside towards the sea and offers charming streets, arts and crafts, and the Oluf Høst Museum, where you can experience paintings inspired by the Bornholm light. Also follow the old rescue path (Redningssti) along the coast to Helligdomsklipperne and the Bornholm Art Museum – a place where nature, culture and history merge into an unforgettable experience.

Arrival days
There are no fixed changeover days in Gudhjem Søpark, so you are generally free to choose your arrival and departure days. Stays have a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Allergy-friendly holiday apartments
All apartments are non-smoking. If you are allergic to pets, please inform us when making your booking, and we will make sure to reserve a pet-free apartment for you. Any allergies to down are not a problem either, as our duvets and pillows do not contain down.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair and crib. If you wish to rent a baby package, you can add it to your reservation when booking your stay. The baby package will be delivered to the apartment and collected again after your stay.
Bike rental
You can rent bicycles at the reception in Gudhjem Feriepark, which is located 50 meters from Gudhjem Søpark - just remember to book them no later than the day before.
Cleaning
We make sure your holiday apartment is properly cleaned when you arrive. The cost of cleaning is included in the rental price, so there is no extra charge for cleaning. When you depart, we kindly ask that you ensure the inventory is in place, kitchenware is washed, and any trash is deposited in the area's recycling station.
Duvets and bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the apartment. You need to bring your own bed linen and towels unless you rent a linen package from us. The linen package includes sheets, pillowcases, and one large and one small towel. If you wish to rent a linen package, you can add it to your booking when reserving your stay.
Groceries
You can shop for groceries in Brugsen in Gudhjem, 200 meters from Gudhjem Søpark.
Grill
The apartments are privately owned, and it is up to the owner whether a barbecue is provided. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that your apartment will have a barbecue. You are, however, welcome to bring your own. Barbecuing is allowed on stone or grass areas near the apartment, and not on wooden terraces. Please remember to respect the neighbors when grilling. If your apartment has a barbecue, you are responsible for cleaning it after use.
Keys
We’ll send you an email a few days before your arrival with information about how to get the key to your apartment. It’s a simple process – and no problem at all if you arrive late in the evening.
Kitchen appliances
All apartments have well-equipped kitchens - including dishwasher, utensils and tableware for 6, so you don't need to bring any of your own.
Parking and charging stations
There are two free parking areas at Gudhjem Søpark. The distance to the holiday apartments is 10–150 metres depending on location and where you park. Electric cars can be charged at Gudhjem Feriepark right next door – please contact the reception for access to the charging stations (Type 2).
Pets
Pets are allowed in selected holiday apartments. If you are bringing a dog or a cat, please add this when booking your stay. Please note that there is an additional cleaning fee when bringing a dog or a cat. Also remember that the Swedish customs regulations must be met when travelling with pets to Bornholm via Sweden. Tea towels, toilet paper and more
On your arrival, there is a tea towel, dishcloth and a start-up stock of toilet paper in your holiday apartment. If you need additional, you must make sure to bring/buy this yourself.

Gudhjem Søpark is close to Melsted beach
Despite its modest size, Gudhjem is one of Bornholm's most famous towns - and probably also one of the most charming. The many small, well-maintained houses, which are built in levels down the steep cliff slope, give Gudhjem a very special atmosphere.
For many years, painters have visited the city to experience the special "Gudhjem light" over the horizon. One of the most famous painters, Oluf Høst, has his own museum in the city - here you have good opportunities to see the "light" and get an art experience out of the ordinary.
Great atmosphere at the harbor
The harbour is the centre of Gudhjem. Here it is buzzing with life in the small cafes. There are daily departures to Ertholmene with the exciting fortress islands Christiansø and Frederiksø east of Bornholm. After the English had stolen almost the entire Danish fleet in 1807, Ertholmene was converted into a "pirate harbour", where small Danish gunboats engaged in privateer warfare against ships belonging to England and their ally Sweden. The English could of course not accept this and attacked Ertholmene several times with heavy bombardments. But the islands held their ground and therefore remained Danish. The pirates are gone, but the cannons and buildings stand as they did then. A trip to Ertholmene is like a trip in a time machine, where you are put 200 years back in time.
From Gudhjem, the proud ship Thor also sails down the coast to the beautiful rock formations "Helligdomsklipperne", where Bornholm's Art Museum is also located. While Thor sails back to Gudhjem, you have the opportunity to visit the Art Museum with its impressive collection of Bornholm art and take a later departure back to Gudhjem.

Back in Gudhjem, it is a wonderful experience to visit the small fishing village "Melsted", which is an extension of Gudhjem. Here you will find the cutest little half-timbered houses as well as a lovely sandy beach. The water is clean and clear. Are you ready for a swim? Or do you want to see the living agricultural museum "Melsted Gaard", where you can smell, feel and try what life was like on a Bornholm farm in the 1950s? At Melsted Gaard you will also find Bornholm's food culture house "The Farm", where you can taste the many specialties and delicacies from the island's skilled food companies.
