Gudhjem Feriepark consists of cosy holiday homes with a highly attractive location close to the centre of Gudhjem, the cliffs, the beach and the sea. All holiday homes are individually furnished, and the images on this page show an average standard. Holiday homes with sea view are positioned so the view can be enjoyed from the terraces.
Pool, play area and access to indoor swimmingpool
The children will certainly give you top marks if you choose Gudhjem Feriepark. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Baltic Sea while the children have fun at the playground or on the bouncy pillow – and don’t be surprised if they manage to tempt you into a refreshing round of water fun in the large swimming pool (heated from 01.06 to 31.08).
If the weather is not suitable for the holiday park’s pool, you can instead look forward to a visit to Gudhjem Indoor Swimming Pool. As a guest at Gudhjem Feriepark, you have free access to the swimming pool during public opening hours. The swimming pool offers diving boards, a waterslide and a 25-metre pool.

Arrival days
There are no fixed changeover days in Gudhjem Holiday Park, which gives you great flexibility when planning your stay, just as you can choose to travel on days where the ferry is cheapest, which are usually Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Accessibility
The holiday houses in Gudhjem Holiday Park are not suitable for wheelchair users, as the bedrooms are located on the first floor. See our wheelchair-friendly accommodations here.
Allergies
All houses are non-smoking. Please inform us when booking your stay if you are allergic to pets, and we will make sure you're put in a pet-free house.
Baby package
You can rent a baby package consisting of: High chair and crib. If you wish to rent a baby package, you can add it to your reservation when booking your stay. You should pick up the baby package at the reception upon your arrival, and we ask you to return the equipment to the reception at your departure.
Barbecue
The holiday homes are privately owned, and the owners decide whether to provide a barbecue. We therefore cannot guarantee that there will be a barbecue at your holiday home. You are, however, welcome to bring your own. Please remember to be considerate of the neighbors when using it. If your holiday home has a barbecue, you are responsible for cleaning it after use.
Bus
The bus stop is approx. 250 meters from Gudhjem Holiday Park. The schedule for all bus routes on Bornholm can be found here on www.bat.dk
Bicycle rental
You can rent bicycles in the reception. Please book your bicycles one day in advance. The prices per bike (3/7 gears and Mountain Bike) is:
* 1 day: 85 DKK
* 2 days: 170 DKK
* 3 days: 225 DKK
* 4 days: 280 DKK
* 5 days: 335 DKK
* 6 days: 390 DKK
* 1 week: 445 DKK (Ekstra day +40 DKK)
You also have the option of renting tandem bicycles, bicycles with child trailers and E-Bike, as well as accessories for the bicycles such as bicycle baskets, child seats, bicycle helmets and bicycle lights. You will be informed of the prices for this by contacting the reception upon your arrival. Please note that there may be a limited supply of these bike types.
Cleaning
We'll make sure to clean your holiday home on arrival/departure. Cleaning is always included in your rental price, and we will not send you any additional invoices for this after your holiday. On your departure, we simply ask you to ensure that the furniture is in its place, the dishes are cleaned/dishwasher is emptied, and any waste has been placed in the correct bins.
Dishtowel, toilet paper, etc.
Upon your arrival, you will find a dishtowel, dishcloth, and a start-up inventory of toilet paper and kitchen towels, in your holiday apartment. Should you require extra, we ask that you bring, or purchase, this yourself.
Duvets and bed linen
There are duvets and pillows in the house. You need to bring your own bed linen and towels unless you rent a linen package from us. The linen package includes sheets, pillowcases, and one large and one small towel per person. If you wish to rent a linen package, you can add it to your booking when reserving your stay.
Free access to Gudhjem Indoor Swimming Pool
As a guest at Gudhjem Holiday Park, you have free access to Gudhjem Indoor Swimming Pool during the pool's regular opening hours. The swimming pool is just 850 meters from the holiday park, and you can access it by showing your house key at the ticket counter.
Grocery shopping
The supermarket DagliBrugsen is located just 100 meters from Gudhjem Holiday Park.
Internet
All apartments in Gudhjem Holiday Park have wireless internet access. Slow or faulty internet connection will not be grounds for financial compensation.
Iron and ironing board
You can borrow an iron and an ironing board in the reception.
Kitchenware
The houses have well-equipped kitchens - including tableware and utensils. You therefore do not need to bring any of your own.
Keys
We’ll send you a separate email a few days before your arrival with information about how to get the key to your holiday home. It’s a simple process – and no problem if you arrive late in the evening.
Laundry facilities
There is a shared laundry in the reception building, which you can use for a small fee per wash/tumble dry.
Parking and charging stations
You can enjoy free parking at Gudhjem Holiday Park. The holiday homes are located between 10 and 100 meters from the parking lot. Gudhjem Holiday Park has two chargers for electric cars (type 2 chargers). You can purchase a 55kWh charging card in the reception.
Pets
Pets are allowed in selected houses. If you are bringing your pet, please add this when booking your stay. Please note that there is an additional cleaning fee when bringing pets. Swimming pool
You are welcome to use the swimming pool from 8AM to 8PM.
In 2026, the pool is open and heated from 1 June to 31 August.

Experience Christiansø, the most eastern point of Denmark
Despite its modest size, Gudhjem is one of the most famous towns on Bornholm – and probably one of the most charming. The many small well-kept houses, built in levels against the steep cliff, provides Gudhjem with a very special atmosphere. As soon as the 1800s, artists flocked to the town to experience the magical ”Gudhjem light” on the horizon. One of the most famous painters, Oluf Høst, has his own museum in the town today. Here you will have excellent opportunities for seeing “the light”.
Great atmosphere on the harbour
The harbour is the centre of Gudhjem; you can experience a hum of life from the little cafes. There are daily departures to Ertholmene – the small rocky islands of ”Christiansø” and ”Frederiksø”, east of Bornholm. In the beginning of the 1800s, the islands played a central part in the grand politics between Sweden, England, Russia, and Denmark. The English would bomb the islands on several occasions, while Danish soldiers stood fast, and kept the islands under Danish rule. Visit Ertholmene, which is almost like going 200 years back in time.
Another interesting outing, is a boat trip on M/S Thor, which sails from Gudhjem and down the coast to the beautiful rock formation ”Helligdomsklipperne”, located directly beneath Bornholm’s Art Museum. Before returning to Gudhjem with M/S Thor, use the opportunity to explore the museum, with its impressive collection of local art. Take a later boat back to Gudhjem, or enjoy the beautiful walk back along the coastal path.

Experience life in the 1950s at Melstedgård
When you return to Gudhjem, do visit the small fishing village of Melsted, which can be found in connection to Gudhjem. Admire the small and charming timber framed houses, and visit the beautiful sandy beach. The waters are clean and clear. Up for a swim? Or perhaps you feel more like visiting the working agricultural museum of Melstedgård, where you can smell, feel and try your hand, at life on a Danish farm in 1950. At Melstedgård, you will also find gourmet Bornholm’s ”Gaarden”, which acts as a kind of food embassy for local produce and products.
